Congratulations on your 4th bday!! You are so fortunate to have such loving parents and a little sister! What a wonderful family situation. Yes , time cures a lot and with the loving environment you are in Jasper and I wish for you great things and happiness !

Happy Birthday, Lots of love sent your way. It us so nice that you rescued. Step back w/ your rescue & sometimes don't try to please them & be yourself, It will just come. The Day when you realize you both have come full circle & he's watching & following you more then your worrying about him. I'm sure your doing a grt 8 job. (-:

We wish you a very happy 4th birthday Barney. Hope you get some nice treats since you do not like hugs.

I totally can understand what you are going thru with him. We rescued Candie almost two years ago and we are still the only ones she will allow to touch her. My husband still freaks her out if he tries to lift her although she will lay against him in bed or on the couch.

Like Barney she does not like loud noises, it is hard to know what all these poor little dogs endured so do not give up on him. I treasure the times she wants attention and have found speaking to her in a very soft voice will really calm her down.

It is good he has another dog to feel safe around. Our coton has really made a difference in teaching ours a feeling of security.

Enjoy your birthday Barney and glad you have a forever home.
