Charlie's happy sound!

When we get home Charlie often makes his "aaawwwww" happy sound. Do all Cotons do it? We love this little boy sooo much as he brings us so much joy. He loves to retrieve his toys, especially his Big Teddy. They're the same size! Life would be boring without him!

Oh Charlie you are so handsome and I love your apricot coloring. Our Chloe makes the same sound, sometimes she does it because she is content and sometimes she does it if she wants to get our attention before she jumps up to cuddle with one of us and sometimes both of us. Chloe is the best little girl, she's so loveable with everyone especially my grandkids, very good natured and so well behaved. We take her everywhere with us..no boarding for Chloe, we would miss her way too much.

Enjoy Charlie. Cotons are a wonderful breed.

Charlie you are sure an adorable little guy. You look like my girl cotton with your apricot ears........When she was young I would hear this little sound coming from her.....I thought at the time it was a little grunt and believed that I was squeezing her too tight. Then somewhere I read this is a sign of contentment.

She does it so quietly that its hard to hear but when I listen it is quite frequent. I agree with you that life without these little dogs would not be the same, love them sooooo much.

Enjoy him and his wonderful little sounds. It is so nice to share our stories with other coton lovers.

Charlie is so cute! What a beautiful Coton. Our coton Molly and our Havanese Sandy both make that awwwww sigh when they are happy. Or at night, when we are all in bed. They are happiest when the family is all together.

I'm not sure if it is the same sound but Jonah makes like a quiet growl or purr I have a hard time explaining it. At 1st when he was little I thought he was growling & went Hey. Then realized as u rub his belly & his feet start moving he lays there in heaven & just continues in this purring talking growling sound.

Charlie is a very handsome Coton. Enjoy

Your Charlie sounds exactly like our Alex! He does the aaawww sound a lot too, especially when it seems he's trying to talk to us. Alex has been such a wonderful companion to our young daughter and us. He loves to play and is often the house clown. I never thought we would have so much fun with this bundle of love.
