coat question

i just got mi coton a couple of weeks. I see that the coat is very thin and kind of silky in comparison with other puppies ive seen on the web

is she gonna stay like that?
How do I know I get a coton and not a Maltese?

is the coat gonna get thicker and dense when gets mature?

Yes, it will get thicker as your puppy gets older.

Yes, your puppy's coat will come in thicker as she gets older. My Rhyie's coat was thin and wispy when she was young but as she got older (about a year old) it started to get thicker and fuller. Was a big difference compared to what it looked like when she was 3 months old. I wouldn't worry-right now your puppy has puppy hair and it will change.
