Sophie, our naughty girl

Our Coton de Tulear, Sophie, arrived 1 week ago! She's 9 weeks old and just adorable intelligent and already feels confident at home. We live in Brazil and it is not common to find this breed here. She's learning fast where to pee and poo.

One of the cutest things is when she enters in her "shark mood" as we say. It is only one week.. but we expect many adventures with Sophie! It is the first dog of the family, and we chose the perfect breed!

Sophie is recovering

We had a tough weekend with our Sophie recovering from a stomach bacteria. She is doing fine now, medicated by her careful Vet. These little things are really in the heart of everyone in the family!

I have a question for the more experienced Coton owners: for the last 2 weeks, she's been digging, hiding her treats and eating days later. Could that be the reason? Any similar experience?

Sophie's best friend

Dogs are really angels on earth. Sophie and Kelly, just love each other. They are neighboors and every time we go out to the garden, both start crying, for they want to be together. I bring treats and they have their afternoon "tea party". Recently, they went to the salon at the same time for their beauty treatment.

Sophie is becoming a very naughty girl. She pees mostly in the right place, which is outside of the house, but sometimes, especially when she doesn't want to be far from us, she goes to the nearest bathroom of the house and pees right in front of the toilet. We all think that's the cutest thing, because it's a statement that she is human like us, so she shows that she knows the right place to pee. And afterward, she gives us this "it wasn't me" look!
