If it’s too cold for you, it’s probably too cold for your dog NEW

I can usually tell if my Coton is too cold - he starts shivering and burrowing close to me even more than usual. My dog actually looks relieved when I put him in a little onesie type outfit when it’s cold.

If your Coton is clipped close then maybe a sweater indoors would feel goid. I put sweaters on mine if he’s outdoors in 40’s F if colder, especially if we’re doing a bike ride and he’s in his trailer. But mainly no if he’s indoors.
