Dressing up for a picture

Buffy is eighteen months old and the love of our lives. This is our first Coton and I love the breed. She is a very smart dog and knows a lot of tricks that she thinks must be done in a certain order every time. I have spoiled her by buying a rotisary chicken every week from Walmart. I believe she is on the larger size at fifteen pounds. She definitely is not fragile.

Just the right size Coton NEW

Your sweet girl is adorable! Congratulations. Zorro is our Coton, now 8 and weighs between 17-18 pounds. We think that's a great size, not too small so setting on him isn't an issue and not too big. I can still easily lift him if need be. Cottons seem to be pretty smart in general. We believe Zorro understands and remembers quite a bit. For example, if we've told him he can gave a treat after some event and don't promptly give it, a little bark is his way of telling us "you promised". He'll keep barking, just soft little barks until that treat comes his way. We too adore him, he makes us laugh daily, love it that he doesn't shed, and so darn cute! Enjoy your new family member and post more pix as she growd, we all love to see.
