Heidi on vacation traveling to Ohio from Texas, July 13, 2010.

Heidi will let our 96-year-old Mom pick her up during the day. Heidi will lay beside her in the recliner for a long time. Mom has "adopted" Heidi as her own pup. In the evenings, Heidi will "hide out" from Mom. Heidi is also special pals with my sister. For some unknown reason, Heidi will not play with her stuffed toys until she barks at me for permission to play with her "mousey", her favorite toy. I have no idea why she thinks she needs permission to play. She has barked for permission for years. Very odd. Heidi loves to travel. She loves to ride in the car.

I'm sorry this didn't get posted in time for Heidi's birthday. Luc and I hope Heidi had an extra special day full of love, treats, and lots of hugs - you know, just like any other day with a Coton :)
