2-2.5% of your dog weight daily
Formula is good for all adult dogs
My Coton is 12 pounds, so 2% is about 4 oz
I feed him twice a day, 2 oz each time and he is in a perfect shape as far as look, energy level and everything else

My older dog and my 2 one yr old eat 2x a day. 1/2 cup pro plan mixed with heaping tablespoon cooked hamburger or white meat chicken breast..mixed in.sometimes the morning feeding is eaten slowly but the 5 pm usually pretty quick.

I free-feed my 2 and 1/2 year old Coton, I started her out this was right from the beginning and she eats however much she wants during the day. Some days she eats more and some days less. The package of dog food you get for your dog would have the correct feeding amount listed on it in regards to how much to feed your dog. You could also ask your vet about the amount to feed your Coton.
