My Coton eats underwear and garments

My 2 year old Coton lily loves to chew underwear and undergarments one day I'll wake up and find underwear with a hole in it well Let's just say she is very funny and sweet and interesting have any confessions people ??

Eating underwear

My Jasmine likes to "steal" any underwear from the bathroom and drag it into the middle of the living room floor. She also takes the bathroom rug. Kinda funny watching this 9 lb. dog drag a rug down a hallway and into the living room. Then she just likes to sit on all of the stuff. She does eat my slippers. Especially when they are still on my feet! I gave her her own pair - but no, she wants the ones I am wearing. I have had to put everything up. She chews my glasses, lipstick, nail file, her brushes, everything, and she has a ton of chew toys. She is still teething. This is like having a crawling baby! Oh, and she also likes to chew on the cats!

Schnapps steals my cotton socks. Runs off with them and chews holes in them. Gotta love them.

Eating underwear

Jasmine loves to play with my laundry! She will take anything that has dropped from the dryer to the laundry basket and take off with it. She makes a game of it. She also loves to take my socks, from my feet! Just last week the dish towel fell from the counter, she came in to check it out. Looked at me sideways and off she went dragging the towel with her.
I agree they must love our scent!

Coton eats undergarments

My Logan does the same thing. We have a laundry basket that has cut out shapes in it and he will find my undergarments or pjs and will pull them out through the holes. I had to place a large trash bag in the laundry basket to keep him from doing that. Cotons love their people and want to be near them at all times. They miss you when you're not around. Just keep your garments out out of reach. They love you.

Our Coton does not do that nor does our Havanese. Our daughter's Golden Retriever does. We were dog sitting and one evening at about 12:00 AM she vomited up her dinner. In the dinner was a partial pair of our daughter's cute little black panties with pink bows. Unfortunately when pets eat underwear or clothing they can require surgery to remove. We were lucky. I contacted our daughter and she said she found the rest of the panties under her bed. So please make sure you put your undies in a safe place where your little buddy can't find them. I would suspect he misses you during the day and likes your scent.
