My high flying girls

I have two Cotons they are litter sisters and now three years old. My husband and I have had them from 9 weeks old. We love them dearly they are very clever and like naughty children encourage each other to get in mischief. We are lucky enough to own a condo in South Carolina although our primary home is in England. We fly them out to the condo for 2 or 3 months every year. They love being in their holiday home and have no problem with flying. They just settle right in as if they are here permanently.

Flying dogs to the USA

Hi no we don't give our dogs sleeping pills in fact it is not allowed to drug them. I do spray their crates with natural pheromones which helps them relax. On long haul flights they are not allowed in the cabin. There are only a few airlines that have facilities to fly livestock. They are in separate crates with drinking water and lots of puppy pads under their favourite blankets to help keep them dry. They are put in a special room in the hold next to each other which is air conditioned and sound proof. The room is kept dark which helps them sleep. My dogs are crate trained anyway so the crates are not a problem. They are let out of their crates when landed and held in a holding pen while they have a health check and papers checked. The people who keep and check them are vets and lovely to the animals. When my husband picks them up they are happy, bouncy and hungry. We fly them back and forth every year and they are fine

I think you should explain in details flying long distances. You probably give them some kind of "sleeping pill" but the room under the seats is so small. I'm having a hard time to place my feet... somewhere
