Named After Characters on the Andy Griffin Show

Daphane and Otis are named after characters on the Andy Griffin Show. Daphane was an obscure character - one of the ”fun girls from Mt. Pilot ”. In the past we have had Floyd, Thelma Lou and Ernest T. Bass. They all lived long lives and were much loved.
Daphné is 2 1/2 years old and Otis is 4 months old, they are cousins - mothers are sisters from the same litter, different fathers.

Mom (86-years-old) watches reruns of the Andy Griffith show. It seems like it's a good show no matter when it's aired.

Her Coton Minnie is Mom's shadow. Cotons are awesome!
