hi..all puppies do that ..and a firm no consistently will end that but also as they get older it will end with age.
If puppies are taken away from their mothers too young then sometimes the nipping can be worse. when a puppy nips at their mom..the mom nips right back..
so that is how they learn ..
My dog maxine is 9 months old and the nipping stopped at about 6 months.but..once in while she gets a little frisky and a queen attitude!

Our six month old Coton went through that same phase. That is how she told us that she wanted to play. When she would come up to nip or to hang on the led of our pants, I would stare her down and firmly tell her "No" while holding the palm of my hand up. She got the message. Now she runs around or jumps when she wants to play and I try to give her extra attention.
