I was at Frys Tues. & a diff. meat guy while shopping said r u finding everything. I said yes but I wish pointing to the big pre pkg'd round bones I wish I could find a couple of this cut smaller.

He said no problem I'll do it for u. I said great cut me down 3 since I lucked out & got a butcher who would go an xtra mile I used it. LOL. So I now have back up. Have a nice day.

TO Vickie and Jonah...I actually do use the eye of the round steak. We grow our own beef here in South Louisiana and the round steak is my favorite cut of meat.I cut out the bone as I am cooking and save in a ziplock for Pepin. He loves it!!

Happy happy Birthday. U r lucky 2 find round bone. I used to get 1 by buying a round steak perfect size. Even roasts now r all boneless.

Now I can only find pre packaged round bones that it would take yrs if Jonah were 2 use up & I would have to cut in half just to get semi small.

But where there's a will there's a way so I will keep looking. Right now I guess I'll use beef short rib bones since easier to find. LOL.
