my Remy gets very matted! He hates to be brushed or combed even though I started when I first brought him home.

After the first few months of Jasmine coming to live with us and matting like crazy, I decided on the puppy cut. She looks so cute. She was at the groomer today getting pampered and I was next door having a pedicure. That was a win-win! I give her a bath every Sunday night with a brushing and blow out. She is used to it and also likes going to the groomer. I am too busy to be brushing her everyday. Works for us! She goes to the groomer every 3 months. I also cut her hair around her eyes and the top of her head.

Remy looks beautiful.Tuffy had his done last week. We're in Bristol CT and I need to check him for ticks every single time after we go outside. So far at beginning of spring he had one on his lower back a few inches from the base of his tail.i was able to get at it with tweezers and got the head and body.The puppy cut makes it so much easier to check him, and he doesn't like to be groomed so we are both more relaxed. I only have to do minimum trimming until his next groomer appointment
