Scooter the smart circus clown coton

At 6 months old

Scooter is so smart! At just 7 months, We taught him not do go down the stairs to the basement and he stays at the top and wags his tail. We don’t have a fence and he does not run away. We don’t leave him outside without us there of course, but he does not need a leash. He is always happy and simply makes us smile all the time.

Love his dark markings. Don’t see that so much in Cotons. I do agree that Cotons are smart but mine can be very, very stubborn!

I agree that Cotons are very smart. Jazz loves to train and needs the stimulation every day, so even if I come home and want to just sit, she gets some obedience training drills and then she happy for a time. We also have learned many tricks. I recommend finding a good trainer and working on Canine Good Citizen. You both will enjoy it!
