I’m just so cute after grooming and now I can see!!
My Coton puppy, Lola, can be calm and sweet. She can also be super hyper and off the wall. I have noticed a correlation between treats and hyperactivity.
Right now I will not give her the little bone shaped treats in the box of a very well known brand or the tiny squares in the bag of another expensive treat/ food company. Unfortunately, Lola bangs on the closet door begging for these treats. There has to be some additive ingredient that causes the pups to get addicted.
I will stick with her Royal Canin food only. It makes sense that manufacturers want dogs to get hooked on their product.
Only give your Coton the Royal Canin food. I do cook chicken and chop it up into tiny pieces and mix it into her food as a treat. Trust me, avoid any treats. My Coton was very calm and sweet before I foolishly gave her treats. The treat manufacturers want your pups to get hooked. Remember, it’s all about money and the Coton is tiny so it affects them more than a larger dog.
They are a very smart breed so they will bang on that pantry door and go nutty so throw out those treats.
