Will my Coton's coat grow back if she gets a puppy cut?

My coton dogs hair is Long. It Never has been cut. If she is given a puppy cut would her hair grow long again? She is three years old. Thank you

Oh, yes, it definitely will grow back. I had my Rhylie girl get a puppy cut and it is growing long again. I plan to get her another puppy cut as we live in Florida and long hair is just too hot for her. I'll let it grow long in the cooler months.

My boy’s coat grows like a weed. Yes, it will grow back no matter how many times you cut it.
